Ugh, this seems really gross to me. I'd rather see the studio just die than be taken over by some telecommunications company that probably doesn't really give a shit about what Ghibli's name means.

Man, how the hell is this still on pre-order? I'd almost forgotten about it until Kotaku had a blurb about it being on sale...

Ah, mystery solved, I think. Apparently they were completely unsatisfied with the quality of the English dub and redid the entire thing from scratch.

May have to start watching Barakamon on Kotaku's recommendation. Sounds interesting.

What I've seen has been fun.

Jury still out on Sidonia.

I hope they do another season of Devil Is A Part-Timer; I finally finished off the first one, that was fun. "Come on, a cute girl moving in next door to a couple of guys and doting on them? That doesn't really happen!"

About halfway through School-Live! Tonally weird show. Gets really extraordinarily dark at times, particularly the depths to which three of the main characters entertain and encourage the delusions of the fourth. That and more combined with what would otherwise be a *very* stereotypical 'cute girls in high school' anime makes for a really strange show. I do dig it, though. It somehow manages to successfully combine the two genres it's messing about with.
