What are the rules for Song of the Day? Because, you know, Hatefuck.

Heh, no rules beyond no more than one song per day from any one person. Whatever might be stuck in your head on any particular day or that you feel like sharing.

I actually enjoyed Hatefuck, if not the associated video...

I love that god damned song. I think it's funny that it's called Hatefuck, since I've listened to so many bands that wrong songs with names like hatefuck, and I think the wussiest of them could beat up all of The Bravery, but god it's a fun song. I enjoy the video for what it is, but it definitely could have used a budget, and someone designing what the central couple looks like. Also maybe something better than mermaids infesting the wound. But I really love the way people look in night vision.

Fixed. Put up another video of the same performance. If youtube kills that one too, I'll find a non-Saturday Night Live performance, I guess.

For today's grammar lesson I will simply link this comic. Hey, the title indicates that grammar is not required.

Also the lead singer is pretty cute.

This makes me feel like I'm playing Castlevania.

I probably listen to Would? at least three times a day while working on documents. I'm not posting because it's obscure or anything, I just love the song.

Addendum: and here are a bunch of kids doing a pretty cool cover of it.

Addendum2: alternate link.

This video contains content from Vevo, who has blocked it in your country on copyright grounds.

Man your country would totally suck if it didn't have the nicest beaches.

Edited the old post to include an alternate link.

I really love this song, seen this guy live a number of times over the years. He's doing a tour around the US at the moment.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K-GH35-FDP8

You may recognise the old guy in the video from any number of movies over the last 50 years, most recently the new Wall Street movie and most famously as Tuco in The Good, The Bad and The Ugly.
Darren got to meet his idol and they hit it off over a couple of days, seemingly enough to put this video to an older song of his. I think it fits well. :-)
