I clinched a playoff spot in my league. I'm currently the 3rd seed. Come on Peyton, light my fire.

Manning or Hillis? I think you probably mean Manning, but the Yahoo experts seem to really like Hillis for the rest of the season, so maybe it's him.

Just an observation, but throughout the 14 weeks of this season, all 9 of my wins happened when I played Tony Romo, and all 5 of my losses happened when I didn't.

Looks like the playoff standings will be:
1. Meat Passion
2. Maturin - /flex
3. Miel
4. ...

So Week 15 will be Meat Passion vs ..., and Maturin vs Miel.

I went out in the first round of my playoffs despite finishing 10-3 for the season.
Damn you Ed Reed for thwarting Portis & Philly for making sure only one Manning got a decent fantasy score yesterday... :|

So... does anything change with the playoffs?

The matchups are not determined until the standings for the week are official, but unless something crazy happens in tonight's game, the matchups for Week 15 will be what I said above. 1st vs. 4th, and 2nd vs. 3rd place. The two winners of those matchups will play each other in Week 16 for 1st and 2nd place for the entire season, and the two losers of Week 15 face each other for 3rd place overall. Actual season win/loss record does not matter; it's all decided in these final two weeks.

There is also a consolation playoffs for 5th - 8th place.

But other than that, everything else is the same. You can still make roster changes and starting lineup choices as normal.

I've got some favorable matchups for the first round of the playoffs in the Roast Beef D&D fantasy football league. DeAngelo Williams is going up against a terrible run defense (Denver) and Peyton is playing Detroit. Got some tricky selections to make for my WRs and RBs though.

Yeah, I still have some weakness in my WR position.

You have TO, Reggie Wayne, Calvin Johnson, and Kevin Walter. I'd say you were doing pretty well at WR. In fact, if there was any position you were weak at, I'd say TE. You've got QB (Brees), RB (Tomlinson and Thomas Jones), K (Akers), and D (Chicago) pretty well covered.

As is Johnson, tied for third most receiving in the league I think.

Yeah, I've looked around for a better TE but the difference between a good TE and a GREAT TE is only a few points per game. It doesn't seem worth the effort.

There are only like 5 decent tight ends from an FF standpoint.

It seems that it was Jim Zorn's fault that I crashed out of my Fox League playoffs then. I have to say I agree with Portis on this one... :x

Thank you for the 14.4 points, Mr. Colston. I'm sorry your team lost but I think you will appreciate the contribution you made towards my own post season efforts.

dogmeat is probably sad that he did not play Pierre Thomas, or his mancrush Colston.
