I didn't do anything to the playoff seed. It wasn't any different to default.

I'll check that's the case in the other Y! league I'm in.

As for Slaton I'll re-add him and drop some deadweight.

Well, I'm happy the list is gone. I'll move a couple of guys around on Monday.

Things are looking decent this week, although it's obviously not tied up until after Monday. Still, I will be pretty annoyed if I lose this one.

dogmeat reinstated it after I called bullshit. I didn't think it was right to just change the setting without discussing it and getting feedback from all/most of the participants. Personally I don't care about can't-cut one way or the other, so if you want to remove it I'd support it. However I think an official motion to remove it mid-season should be on the table for at least a few days, and it definitely should not kick in on game day.

Okay, I can understand it. For what it's worth, I'm still in favor.

So, we're out of game time. Can we resume talks on the no-drop list?

If we do some kind of vote for changes, just put me down for whatever the majority is. I have no idea how to "play" this dumb thing anyway. I only switch bye players for non-bye players and leave it at that.

. you were this close ->| |<- to dropping to second place, argh!

As for can't-cut, I think that if we do put it into effect, it should go in no later than a Friday. I'm gonna still think about my vote though for another day or two.

I noticed that. Something like 3 minutes until it was over and I was .30 behind. I don't recall exactly, I just remember thinking that it's probably the closest margin I had seen.

Brad Evans referring to San Francisco's receiving weapons as VD and Crabs just became an instant classic.

Ha ha! You know what else is pretty classic and funny when you think about it? Dropping the no-drop list! Think about it! You can't drop it... but then you drop it!

Have put Matt Schaub up on the trading block. After a TE ideally.

I have a decent enough TE but I'm looking for a decent WR.

I WOULD however willingly trade you for any of several do not drop players! Brian Westbrook? Eh? EH?

Might've been interested if you'd said something two weeks ago when I mentioned I was looking for a QB. I do have Dallas Clark, whom I believe to be the best TE right now. I'm just not sure I could find an adequate TE replacement at this point, and I'm not sure Schaub is an upgrade to Warner/Flacco/Favre, especially considering Schaub's stats are somewhat inflated since he has not had his Bye yet. And with Owen Daniels out for the season, Schaub's numbers won't be as good going forward.

Willing to discuss it though.

A couple of weeks ago I needed him for bye week cover but with Brady in for the stretch I don't really need him.

As for Clark how about I throw in Heath Miller who's been pretty good for me. As well as Schaub, natch.

Have just e-mailed the league to ask that very fact.

A good offer, but I think I'm going to pass. If it had come earlier, probably would've gone for it. At this point in the season, it's time to start preparing for playoffs, and in terms of trades I'd rather have the best player in his position than two good players. With Bye weeks almost over, my goal is to get players I can slot in and never bench again.

So it's Friday. Drop list? From what I can tell, it's me and Dyna and therefor Plut and probably Dogmeat for, Bag against.

This is a good time, because I don't think I will win those no matter how magical a WR I get. It's too bad because I was just getting used to being second-worst. It's because I got too full of myself. I would walk around with my monocle and tophat going, "I'm second worst! Hum hum hum."
