Have I told you lately that you smell?

I actually don't disagree. I always think that I smell, partly because I hate my natural body scent. I'm always sure that people are thinking about how much I stink, but when pressed, no one ever admits it. Consequently, I shower a lot, sometimes twice a day, if I think I'm going to come into contact with anyone that isn't me.

If ever there was a week for Antonio Gates to break his TD streak, I'm glad it happened when my opponent dogmeat could not also benefit.

Yeah, Rivers was all kinds of suck this week.

That said, if CJ scampers for a couple of TDs and a hundred yards (some receptions would help) I could win our matchup as long as Bironas just gets PATs rather than FGs...

Regardless of the outcome, it's turning out to be a pretty good match.

Addendum: I just clicked ahead a couple weeks and noticed oops, six of my guys are on Bye in Week 8.

Yeah, could go either way.

I drafted some bench players with an eye on the bye week. Though my waiver activity has probably put the brakes on that plan.

I used to look at bye weeks during the draft, but then I decided it wasn't worth it. It's pretty easy to change a roster for a bad bye week. Even with six guys out in Week 8, I still have enough guys to fill spots for everything except one position. Easy enough to fix.

Is it just me, or does it seem like there just aren't as many good running backs this year?

Yeah, it seems like the NFL is moving toward platoon systems, where they routinely have two or three guys sharing touches. Plus with PPR it's making receivers more valuable. Hell, up until this week, my highest scoring dude was a TE.

Yeah, I have been jealously admiring your tight end.

My tight end is definitely accustomed to receiving and scoring.

So the irony of this game is that both Mojo and TO played pretty well. Just not enough to match that Minnesota game (which was actually kind of fun, caught the last bit of it before karaoke), and not enough to make up for Lloyd and Pittsburgh on D.

I started the wrong receiver in Danario Alexander who after last week's effort got a single catch for six yards.

Although you know you're having a bad week when your kicker & defense outscore all of your other players.

Here's to hoping that the Giants have a freakishly huge game, for both of us. :)

I need Witten to have a massive game and Miles Austin to be all but ignored by Tony Romo.

I only caught a bit of the game but it looks like someone needs to buy him an OL.

EDIT: Whoa. Didn't realize that he broke his collarbone, that sounds bad. :(

I really didn't expect to beat Plut this week so I'm delighted that I did.
Pretty much what I wished for yesterday.
