I have a win and I have only the vaguest of notions why! Yay!

Oh! I'm willing to bet it's because you got more points than your opponent. Then again, maybe not, this league won't let you cut bum players so maybe everything is off.

If you're talking about cutting Mendenhall, I'd not even contemplate it. I think Week 1 was a misfire for the Pittsburgh running game.

I was not talking about anyone in particular, but yeah, I probably would have cut him when I was culling my team the other day. And the other guy that posted 3 points or whatever it was.

I read that my kicker injured himself after the kickoff. Talented, talented man. Would have been nice to even get a quarter of a point with that guy. Might has well play someone on bye at that rate.

Well, to be fair, he did get injured trying to tackle the guy that ended up getting a return TD on the opening kickoff. San Diego doesn't have a backup kicker, so the punter had to fill in and he did great.

Ah, in my head, I was picturing him in a Charlie Brown-type situation.
I guess that's a little better.

Plut, are you the Prancing Pelicans? Because I am not looking forward to playing you next week if you are.

I'm having a horror season in the CoT I think. Although I got burned by Brandon Lloyd and Maclin. Though neither would've made a difference against plut.

I did win both of my public league games though and am top of one league.

Just had a rather lopsided trade offer from Bag's colleague, Mark Ingram for Jahvid Best. A straight swap is a bit crap given Ingram's in a Payton committee of horror.

He's offering me Thomas Jones for Tony Gonzalez. He thinks Jones will put up good numbers soon, but I don't know, right now he's putting up crap.

I'd want no part of that offense, regardless of whether Jones will see more activity post-Charles IR.

Well, you're in luck. Apparently half of my team has decided to injure themselves, but only slightly. Enough to be questionable whether they are playing or not. I'm sure they'll start the game and collapse to the ground 4 seconds in.

I'm 0 and 2 in my work league and probably headed towards 0-3. I'm projected to have the lowest score of anyone and am a 22 point underdog.

:(

I'm basically starting Cam Newton as a hail mary shot of winning this game. Thanks to injuries I no longer have a valid #2 back. Knew I should have picked up Sproles through free agency but I went with Cadillac instead specifically for last week's matchup. Fucking stupid of me in hindsight.

Oh wells.

I think I got a good shot in the PA debate and discourse league this week.

With respect to real football, the Texans get their first true test of the season. It'll be interesting to see if the revamped defense can slow down the Saints and Brees. If they pull it out then talk of the playoffs may really be justified.

Not gonna watch the game real time though. Gonna DVR it and add like an hour and a half to my life.

I'm in the same boat. My TE was out and my WR's were apparently all bored. Sometimes you get the bear, and sometimes you get the herpes. That's just life.
