Neither of those sound good!

Getting the bear is pretty okay. My grandmother once beat one off with a broom and now she's addicted to opiates.

In that case I think my entire team have herpes while getting chewed on by the bear.

3-0 and top by a fair margin in this public league though.

I don't think you're doing that bad! You're in third, of eight!

What? No, you are, right now. It's a thing that's happening, it's quantifiable, you can go see it. Look, if someone has a ham sandwich, and they say "I have a ham sandwich!", and then you say "that remains to be seen" and take it away from them, they still had a ham sandwich. The statement was true at the time it was made. Once, they had a ham sandwich, then, you were a jerk, and now they don't. We didn't need to wait to see if they still had a ham sandwich to confirm the previous existence of their ham sandwich, we could see that at the time. I mean, if your grandparents die you don't stop existing.

I meant it remains to be seen whether I'm not doing that badly.
Those three dropped games might make all the difference if I manage an improbable climb up the league.

Third out of eight, though! You couldn't blame someone for thinking you were in the top 50%.

I kind of want to read a story about a place where people stop existing if their ancestors die.

So, at the risk of sounding like I'm gloating... booyah?

Unfortunately, I have a can't cut list player again.

Early days yet. Who d'you want to drop? Would you consider a trade?

I've gone 4-0 in my public league and it's not even close. I have 540.40 standard scoring for, next team is on 404.82. Every single one of my opponents so far has been on the receiving end of the biggest blowout... Keystones have been Rodgers, Welker, LeSean, Fred Jackson & Matt Forte.

Steve Jackson. Yes I would.

Matt Forte and Aaron Rodgers are tearing shit up this year. If I had a strong WR corps I would be doing really well.

I am in another league with coworkers, and this week I played a guy who had both Aaron Rodgers and Matt Forte...and still ended up winning somehow. It really helped that I played my optimal lineup.

Hillis for Jackson isn't so lopsided as I see it. Jackson's not done a great deal though he might eventually and the little engine that could is still awesome.

I doubt anyone (except Bag) would have cause to call shenanigans. It's not like I'm riding high in the league. :)

I honestly am willing to have made a bad decision in exchange for getting rid of Jackson so I can possibly load in another WR. I actually don't need an RB, I need WRs.

You're much more likely to strike gold in free agency with WRs than any running back though, just keep an eye on the stat line during Sunday games.
Guys like Torrey Smith or Victor Cruz are recent examples who've risen to prominence as a result of injuries, and in the case of Cruz at least stake a claim for playing once the player they're covering for is back in the mix.

No, I think Peyton Hillis for Steve Jackson is totally fair, I don't see why you'd think I would call shenanigans.

In related news, I have proposed a trade to TMCM. Fitzpatrick for Brandon Marshall. I had a great spare QB and needed help at WR. Now I wait for her to review, and if she accepts then I think dogmeat has to approve?

TMCM: I advise you to delay approval until after this weekend. :-D

The guy I'm trading for is on Bye this week, so you don't have to worry about him hurting our matchup, Square.

Marshall is hamstrung by the horrible QB situation in Miami.
And yes, approval once the person on the other end has approved it.
