I am noticing no slowdown, but I'm not really all that perceptive so I'm not sure how significant this is.

Slowdown just got bad for me. I checked the administrator panel and didn't see anything out of the ordinary, but I did notice that our forum is now just over 100 MB in size.

Everytime someone quotes Bag of A_ss it turns into a quote from his twin bro, Bag of Bass.

I think we're all mature enough not to be offended by the word ass, it means donkey for gods sake.

If anyones viewing the COT from work and ass gets them in trouble tell them to just slap their boss's face with their dick and tell em to shut the fuck up. (just threw that in there because I'm curious on how much of it will get censored)

It's much better now... I think Rob's server may have rebooted... the DB couldn't connect, and then I couldn't get to the site at all, and now everything's speedy(ish)

In fairness, we've been building 'ground zeros' near Iraqi mosques since March 2003.

Actually, I can't believe it stood that long. I totally forgot to remove the Tweeg word. I meant to leave it for a day, which is usually my standard practise for this kind of guerilla piss-taking. :-)

Not sure where to put this, but seeing as some of you are reading this...

I've just slightly modified the email PM notification, so that you can see who the PM is from. I decided not to include all the other details (such as the content of the pm, doh!) as you might not wish that kind of thing to appear in a "notification" - after all, it's notification, that's all, and your notifications might be going to shared inboxes etc.

But, if you do use this feature (I use it a lot), then at least you will see who the PM was from before you go and log-in to read it.
