Well, just incase anyone cares, my day off was quite successful...

So far I've managed two, two page English Literature essays on Othello and Blake, a first draft of an English Language Coursework - A how to... guide book, and a two page essay on the internal workings of a CPU for computing...

If I had any will left to do anything, I'd start revising for my computing assessment tomorrow, but I've got 19 hidden packages to find in Portland, and I used up my entire can-be-arsed-ness quota for the whole month in one day...

Rob, the procrastination stakes rest on your head again... I hope you managed to get everything finished...

Spork.

I royally fucked up.

I think I'll be a somewhat infrequent visitor to the forum this week. I have some brownie points to earn-back. :-(

See that procrastination crown? Just fucking engrave my name on it NOW and hand it over. The rest of you never stood a chance....

(edit: Plut - Sharon rules doesn't she? I loved the sequence where she decides she wants bigger boobs, having the heart to heart with Kelly on staircase.)

As far as procrastinating and being worthless. I have a 12 page thesis in 2 days..i have about 3 pages of info, im going to die. And i keep an empty 40 bottle beside my bed so i canpiss in it at night...and out the window hangs a tube and a funnel so i dont have to go downstaris or open the window to pour it out.
my room mate hates me.

Not half as much as the people in the room below you, I'm guessing.

It's kinda funny to see how far you've come Rob...

Losing weight, off the beers, you haven't gone bankrupt yet. The love life is slightly more existent.

"You may," he said, as (SSC) he visited the forum properly for the first time in over a week.

I'm still waiting for you to "evolve" the CoT into a new beast; something akin to Project Mayhem.

That explains your week+ long absence.

Hmm, I've been really lax here of late. Sorry, folks. It's nothing personal, I just have a busy life at the moment.

Heh. You'd know about it if I ever did stop loving you guys, that's for sure. :-)

No, I still love you all, I'm just not trying to be the centre of attention like I once tried to be.

I post stuff on LJ from time to time - some weeks a lot, some weeks fuck-all.

There's an investment of time required to follow the threads here (even with the slower-than-might-be-expected posting). Particularly the threads in the Ministry, which I enjoy reading in bursts every week or so - I think the Ministry can be read that way due to low volume of new posts in there (some weeks nothing much, other weeks a handful of posts, all very much worth reading). But me, personally - well, I don't really have anything very interesting to say these days, and so I don't really want to increase the noise-to-signal ratio anymore than I have to. There's only so much boring work-and-personal-life-related stuff I can sling at you guys. :-)

Mind you, TMCM made a point about us gravitating towards huge long mega-topics, and how that might not be a good thing. I totally agree with this now - we've become quite compartmentalised and it's hard for anyone who wasn't there at the start of the mega-topic to join-in afterwards - what do you do about the 50 pages you've missed so far? etc.

So, maybe a few random wittering type topic-seeding posts in the common room might encourage people to do the same. And then we can start to complain about all the new topics, again. :-)

LJ suits the somewhat-more-self-obsessed side to my online persona and I guess that's why having an erratic blog feels easier than here; I started treating CoT like my own personal blog (with guests!) a few years ago and it didnt' really work out for anyone.

But, that doesn't mean I don't love you all, far from it.

And it's nice to see you post something now and again, Foob.
