Then we can use your magnificent example of automotive travel to get from one to the other.

...Useless electronics attached to the dash? It's inspired...

The 'turbo' sticker was even funnier today... I ended up going up a 17% hill at 16mph, with a huge queue of people behind me...

So, er, I got paid a metric fuck-ton of money for making a website for Emma's Grandad's business and decided to be a bit silly...

<div align="center">Image</div>

But, as you may remember, there's no extra electrics in the car... It's such a low model that all the lines to extras like cigerette lighters, stereos, etc were cut short and tied up in ridiculous places. So, how do you remedy this...?

<div align="center">Image</div>

...Why, you wire up a 12v line straight into the back of the fusebox, of course...

<div align="center">Image</div>

...Just like that.

<div align="center">Image</div>

...Then the rest is as normal... Hide the wires in sills and panels...

<div align="center">Image</div>

Test it before permanently wiring the cage into the glove-space...

<div align="center">Image</div>

...Fiddle around in about 2cm^3 space to screw the mounting screws into place...

<div align="center">Image</div>

...Before switching it on and playing the closest CD to hand... The music ripped out of UT.

<div align="center">Image</div>

Fetching, no?

<div align="center">Image</div>

Oh, and as for the speakers, it took about 20 minutes to cut through the parcel shelf, then another 20 to squeeze the mounting plate things into place...

Anyway... Now I have music in my car that I can actually hear over the engine... Hoorah!

...But I can't say "now my stereo is worth more than my car", because the battery powered speakers I was using before are worth more than my car...

Yeah... 20 minutes with a penknife and a lot of black thready stuff everywhere... The parcel shelf had these two in-set squares, so we just used those as a guide to getting them somewhat in the same place... And don't tell anyone, but the speakers are upside down...

And Tweeg, I'm surprised you didn't say anything about the fascia... That's pink and has hearts on it... I could change it at any time, as I've got 5 more and you can download them off the JVC site, print them off and cut them out, but I think I'll stick with the pink...

You can probably just pull off the mesh and spin it round. You can on mine.

Nope... The mesh has a little hole cut out for where the Pioneer logo thing is... To spin it round I'd have to unscrew them...

Oh, and the CD / MP3 player came with a free remote control, so I can annoy the piss out of anyone that has a JVC car stereo with a remote reciever... Well, by anyone I mainly mean my friend Chris...

Now you just need some 4000 watt amps in the back end.

Nah, I'm not one of those rude-boy-racers that drives around pumping out a lot of bass and not much else...

...Besides, anything more than those speakers and the car would shake itself apart...

So now the electronics in your car cost more than the car itself? Awesome.

...The bracket that's holding the CD player cost more than the car is worth... The wires attaching the speakers to the car cost more than the car is worth...

With the stereo in, and the front panel attached, the car's worth about £30... ( -£150 for scrapping it + £180 for the stereo)

I think it is completely hilarious that your car is worth less than my rollerblades. Although.. you do have a car.. so you're a step ahead anyway. And I would also be going backwards on a hill..

...It barely goes up hills...

Come to think of it, it barely goes along the road...
