Technically, if school is taking it up, it's not free time.

I'm not in that nation at present. Am I elegibudgieble?

How DO they stop you from starting early? Do you get some token that has to be part of the novel or something?

This isn't the first I've heard of this.

The stress of the past few weeks has finally gotten to me.

I've lost whatever it was that was there that was holding me back.

I'm doing this. I'm writing a novel. I don't even have a topic.

I hope it doesn't suck.

I need something like this. It will be my drug.

This is being done. Encourage me. Do so.

Go Lumi! You can do it!

And I think it's supposed to suck. All participants get a copy of my entry mailed to them, on actual paper, if they want it. Oh, incentive! (Not really incentive.)

If any of you do this and actually finish, I guarantee I will read it (assuming of course you post it). I will give you feedback and everything! I would try it myself, but you know, been waiting three years for Halo 2. Any other month I would be in.

They can't stop you, but if you want to cheat to make yourself feel better and not really get anything else, go ahead...

I'm a last minute entry.

I'm going for a political thriller set in a Rome-like setting. I don't know why. :(

So what was the yparrotes thing?
Actually, I'd think it was really cool if I saw Jesus in my icecream too. A tyrannosaur in an F14 would be even cooler.

Buny said "Am I elegibudgieble?" A bird in the middle of eligible. So I stuck parrot in the middle of yes.

I wrote 2000 words on Nov1 but haven't opened the story since. Oops. They picked a month where I'm actually somewhat busy.

So is anyone doing this? If so, how is it coming along?

45 pages. I don't know precise word count, however.

Nice! If you're wondering about the word count and if you're using MS Word, there's a word count feature under Tools. I think.
