I don't think photobucket is really the best place to host my pics, as lame as they are. As my parents grabbed my digital camera a few years back I'll have to have a look for some good ones from before then.

This last one is more impressive for it's oddity. A heritage listed building was dismantled and remade inside a multi-storey shopping centre. It was originally used to make lead shot, I believe the molten lead was dropped from great height to allow it to become rounded before it cooled.

That set of three is pretty awesome. You could take a bunch of pictures and do a photostitch of them.

Here's one I just took today:

Looked so much better in my minds eye.

I use a Digital Canon Rebel (the first DRebel they put out) and either the kit lens it came with, the 18-55mm or my good lens, the 60mm macro.

Hey pab, who is the fox on the poster? Or is she just a random model?

I would post photographs, but I suck at taking them.

Random model as far as I can tell.

I tried splicing them together once but the perspective is pretty bad and they don't go together. I wasn't really thinking about it when I took the pictures.

The shopping centre is called Melbourne Central - Daimaru itself (a department store) went bust and they used the space for a cinema. The shot tower has a restaurant and a souvenir shop in it.

Great composition in those shots, Gaf... especially the tree + wood pile one.

those are super. some wallpaper worthy stuff in there. I can't even get my sony cybershot to not be blurry with a tripod shooting fruit bowls
In fairness, we've been building 'ground zeros' near Iraqi mosques since March 2003.
