I'm pretty sure I got it, however, I think it's a fantastic puzzle.
I say I do, as I've gotten 12 right in a row after 4 misses.

They never hurt my shoulders.

Oh god...I feel so dirty.

Now that I've solved it, I can tell you that I heard from the guy who sent this to me that supposedly in general the longer it takes you to solve, the smarter you are. That is a load of horseshit. It's just a way to make you feel less shitty about yourself when you don't immediately get it. If you can't solve this, you will never get laid. On the off chance that you have had the sex, you will never get laid again.

i'm not sure why you'd be deemed smarter if you couldn't figure out the puzzle..

I think because the smarter people tend to overthink the problem. They try to analyze it and come up with some sort of algorithm which, while they would work, don't really "get" it.

Petals around the rose.

All I'm sayin.

I got it after the second try. Apparently I'm really dumb. :(

If not getting it makes me smart, why do I feel so stupid?

My wife got it after three rolls. I think it took me six or seven (clearly I am twice as smart as she), but I got lucky--the roll I got it on had sixteen "petals," so I think that made it easy to figure out.

I should have figured it out a lot sooner than I did. Then again, I kept unconsciously trying to figure out how many hits I'd gotten every time I rolled.

Got it on the first. Apparently I'm very stupid.

Apparently the internet is abuzz and no one bothered to tell me.

Damnit, now I'm insanely curious as to who this person might be. My skeptical side tells me that it's probably a hoax...but still... I haven't read very much of the blog, but I get the impression that he holds contests and awards points to the winners. It then seems that at some time in the future, the person with the most points (or maybe the first to reach some threshold?) wins a Dodge Viper? It might be all lies, but it's still seems fairly interesting.

That is interesting, but the internet certainly isn't suffering a shortage of cynical people with an "insider's take" on Hollywood. I feel my Skepticism engines starting to cycle too, but it still seems fun to read.

Piss on him for badmouthing Hudson Hawk, though.

Well this is a bit of understatement:

No applications software in [Microsoft's] product line yet, just system packages that are already making them famous and may at length make them rich. *Sigh.*

I wonder how big that "sigh" would have been if the author had known just how rich it would make them.

Everyone is abuzz who thinks that Hollywood is important.

FUCK Hollywood.

Yeah, I don't give a shit about Hollywood, though I do enjoy some of the entertainment it puts out. What interest me are mysteries!
